Hygienist
Our hygienist - Jill Hendey, is an essential part of our practice and your ongoing dental care team. She provides regular care for all periodontal (gum) conditions and can advise you on how best to care for your gum health yourself. Jill also provides fissure sealants to childrens permanent teeth to help prevent decay.

Oral Surgery - Implantology
We are very pleased to be able to welcome the services of Dr Raji Ranganathan BDS. MDS DNB, MOMS, RCPS (Glasg), MFDS, RCS (Eng). Dr Ranganathan is an oral surgeon experienced in sedation and implantology

Endodontics
Dr Marina Spanaki DDS, MSc dedicates her practice to Endodontics or root canal therapy. In the hands of an experienced endodontist using the most up to the minute microscopes and materials most teeth can be root filled or maintained rather than lost. The success rates of endodontics performed by an endodontist far outweigh those done by general practitioners.

Periodontolgy
Dr. Alexandra Efthymiou D.D.S MSc. Mclin Dent is a Master Degree qualified Periodontologist and implantologist. She treats patients with advanced or progressive periodontal (or gum disease). She has experience also of the placement of implants where teeth have been lost. Periodontal disease is how most people lose teeth so extra care is vital.

Referrals
In the practice we are firmly of the belief that the "jack of all trades" approach is outdated and inefficient, which is why we employ trained Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Hygienists and Periodontists. If, however, a treatment is necessary which we feel we cannot provide to a high standard in house, we are happy to refer you to an outside specialist centre.

Denplan / Insurance
There are many types of insurance, which provide an opportunity to spread and protect against the cost of dental treatment. If you have any questions please ask your dentist. If you already have an insurance policy, please inform your dentist as soon as possible.

Before treatment is started you can be provided with a treatment plan detailing all the stages, timescales and costs involved. Please ask your dentist.
