Hygienist
Our hygienist - Jill Hendey, is an essential part of our practice and your ongoing dental care team. She provides regular care for all periodontal (gum) conditions and can advise you on how best to care for your gum health yourself. Jill also provides fissure sealants to childrens permanent teeth to help prevent decay.

Oral Surgery
We are especially lucky to have the services of Miss Sarah Howells on a regular basis to provide any specialist surgical treatment necessary. Miss Howells is an excellent surgeon with all the expertise and experience needed for our in-house services.

Endodontics
Dr S Patel has a postgraduate qualification in Endodontics and performs the more difficult root canal treatments. In the hands of an experienced endodontist, most teeth can be root filled and maintained rather than extracted and lost, which is what most patients require in a modern, conservative dental practice.

Referrals
In the practice we are firmly of the belief that the "jack of all trades" approach is outdated and inefficient, which is why we employ specialist trained Oral Surgeons, Endodontists, Hygienists and Orthodontists. If however a treatment is necessary which we feel we cannot provide to a high standard in house i.e implants, we are happy to refer you to an outside specialist centre.

Denplan / Insurance
There are many types of insurance, which provide an opportunity to spread and protect against the cost of dental treatment. If you have any questions please ask your dentist. If you already have an insurance policy, please inform your dentist as soon as possible.

Treatment Plans
Before treatment is started you can be provided with a treatment plan detailing all the stages, timescales and costs involved. Please ask your dentist.
